Photography Of China

Join us at the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library for the opening of Lewis Sandler’s China Photo Exhibit. This exhibit features photos of a mixture of modern and traditional China, taken during the artist’s many decades living and working in the country. This reception will run 4PM – 6PM on Friday, November 4th as a part of the First Friday Art Walk. Light refreshments will be served.

From the artist’s bio: “Lewis Sandler BS, JD from Massachusetts now lives in Presque Isle in his beautifully quiet, semi-secluded log cabin, and spends his free time taking and creating photographs of interesting subjects. After nearly 30 years living and working in Beijing at a prestigious science and technology university as an undergraduate and PhD instructor (English literature, Creative Writing, Beyond Science, legal English, Debate, and Photography Design), he returned home to USA in late 2019 with thousands of photos of Beijing and other places of interest around China and Asia.”

This exhibition will be available for viewing through December 30th, 2022.
